I just found my Batman forever folders my parents kept for me from middle school. I then thought about how that was 30 years ago. I won’t even go there with the California Raisins folder they found from kindergarten.

The only reason that the Batman appears to be sold out is because a bunch of FOMOs let their fear get the best of them. This junk will be at Ollie's in 6 months.

I've seen several posts here on Toyark over the years for vinyl/soft vinyl figures. I think these types of figures are bigger in international markets, but they do have fans here in the US. From what I understand, these types of figures are meant to be novelty display pieces. Which is why they have goofy proportions, and little to no articulation.

Todd tried something new with "Todd's Mods". I'm not sure why some of you are getting riled up by this. You don't have to buy them, and you're not being inconvenienced in any way by their existence. If they don't appeal to you, just relax and go on with your day.

This type of stuff would come out via DC Direct / DC Collectibles a lot back in the day. Off beat, different things that other companies weren't doing. Usually artist focused.

Some of the DC Direct / Collectibles team are now over at McFarlane toys, I think have been since the license started. So some of that DNA is probably still in the mix.

This stuff has a place, just not for me and probably a lot here, which is Action Figure focused.

Just do what I do, buy what you like. Free market will decide if they make more.

I always regretted not getting the James Groman Artist Alley figures. I remember when those came out I thought to myself….if Mcfarlane did DC, that’s what they’d look like. Such a late 90’s feel to them.

I'm frustrated as a collector, because my tastes are out of style. My favorite stuff came out 20-30 years ago. I wish had the money to spend back then.
