Well the Ecto-1 is based on the Afterlife version which they maybe planning on releasing smaller figures of characters from the movie like the kids who were driving it in the trailer. So it just may be for a smaller line for the Afterlife movie. Just my theory.

Honestly its like Hasbro heard all the complaints about Target exclusives and gave the fans the finger and doubled down on it! Every other reveal was a GD Target exclusive!

Yeah, it sucks, but this fig isn't as compelling for me as the last one was. The addition of another more expressive head and a better sculpting job on those chunky scabbards for Twinkle and Icingdeath might’ve gotten me off of the schneid.
