I paid 50 for my Vision and have no buyer's remorse, the coloring is so dead on from the comic. Pretty awesome figure actually.

I guess I was one of the lucky guys who bought solid Vision and Xforce Warpath at Past Generation toys for less than $15 each. And Blade I got for retail at Target. But ofcourse this is back in 2009.

Asking how did this happen is kind of weird, I could put my Vision on ebay for 10 million dollars buy it now if I want, doesn't mean shit. Is this why everyone hates ebay? Because dumbass scalpers put super high buy it now prices on everything?

Lot of reasons to hate ebay, scalping has gone through the roof nowadays and is way out of hand. However, there are folks who are willing to feed the beasts that they hate on forums, and that keeps the monsters alive.

There are many telltale signs of scalpers with their accounts on ebay and you should never buy from them under any circumstances - "rare" and "first" are two entirely different things - and you pay a premium for them. I often wish all the fan sites would ban together to "end scalping" even if only for a day.

And I really hope that the Vision is in a revision wave. I am late to the party with MU and I have a "classic characters only" limit (or else I would go way overboard ) and unfortunately Vision is pretty high up on my list. Not $100+ list. Save that for actually rare stuff or vintage.

never say never, the thing about the marketplace is this, take a mu base figures say $10, if it's the variant and limited run and production and happens to be of a popular character like a wolverine,ironman, etc the demand grows as people want the better of the 2, the distrubution dies, lines changes, new waves come out, the figure becomes harder and harder to find, unless you go online, and scalper/sellers know this and capitalize on it, now in some cases they could of paid a premium and just want to make their money back, in the case of Hot Toys figures. But that driving price, of $90-200 for a 4'' piece of plastic is because some jackass bought 1 and the sharks swam and said wow if he can sell it for that I should sell it for that, or more or less, etc. Until people stop paying crazy prices, prices wont change, the rates will be inflated, which is good for someone who say finds a full case of colored visions, but for someone that needs 1-2 figures to complete a wave you might as well buy the wave online.

I am happy with phasing version Vision. I would rather use that 100 dollars on something better. I have to consider even if that figure is sell for 20 dollars seriously....The figure isn't impressive at all.
