2005 Boards member Masabon is one lucky guy - he's the lucky recipient of the latest E-Hobby Transformers exclusive. Check out these images of the United Autobots set's booklet, which includes Kup Damage Version, Hot Rod Blue Clear Version, and an all-new remold of Junkion Wreck-Gar as Scrapheap. Plus he's also sent us scans of the Decepticon set with Galvatron Purple Clear Version, Cyclonus Red Purple Clear Version and Scourge Blue Purple Clear Version. If that is not enough he's also given us scans of every story chapter to come with the toys. And all of this is in English as well as Japanese! Read on to check out the images!

Hasbro has updated their Transformers Toy Instruction Sheets with Transformers: Dark of the Moon Mechtech Voyager Class Megatron.
We’ve seen the instruction sheet before, but this is the official reveal. It’s nice to see actual images of the toy instead of the usual lineart (which you all sometimes may have had difficulty understanding “what goes where”). You can download the Instruction Sheet here (12.22MBs). |

Our sister site Toyark.com has undergone a major site redesign. Everything from the logo, to the color scheme to the forum layout has been given a complete overhaul. Here's some things that have changed...
New Theme & Logo Black and red is out. As we approached the redesign, we wanted to separate Toyark from our other sites with similar color themes. So in comes a more yellow, black, blue and gray look. There's now links directly to Marvel, DC, Masters of the Universe and Star Wars news and discussions. The forum has been given a more traditional layout, with user info moved to the left hand side. The logo and header are also completely new. Forum Overhaul We've changed up the forum a bit. Added some new areas and consolidated others. News and Rumors We've gone to a more traditional (meaning more like our various Network sites) News and Rumors format. now all news threads will be in a single forum for easy access to the latest info. One Line Per Thread With the site covering so many toys, we've added a new and easy to follow section of the site. This one is inspired directly by the fans right here on TFW2005. In this forum, each line without a dedicated forum will have single discussion thread for fans to gather, share pics, talk collecting, and more. Featured Toy Lines and Properties Some of the most popular lines like Marvel, DC and Star Wars now have three areas for fans to visit. Each of those areas will have a Toy discussion, a Fiction Discussion (cartoons, movies, comics) as well as a General Discussion area. More Forum Changes Sightings has consolidated into single state sightings (like here). The Creative forums now have thumbnail previews. Much, Much More Lots of upgrades have taken place behind the scenes. We've trimmed our ported over users out, so if you haven't logged in to Toyark in over a year, that account has been removed. The current member list reflects who our active members are. If you had an account that was trimmed, or just want to join in, Sign Up Today! Lastly, we want to thank all of you. Thanks for reading and visiting not only Toyark, but all of our sites. Without the members and readers, this wouldn't be possible. |

Here we have a leading-lady who is actually into the Transformers gig.
To quote MTV… While there's no official word just yet on the possibility of a fourth "Transformers" movie (with or without Michael Bay), newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is keeping her fingers crossed that the franchise could even get to that point. The 23-year-old won some major points when she told MTV News at last week's CinemaCon that she read up on her "Transformers" history from the comic books and animated series, learning a major plot point about her character and Sam Witwicky, the central hero played by Shia LaBeouf. "I found out through research that Carly was the character that Sam ends up marrying, and I was really, really thrilled to see that," she told us. |

TVShows on DVD brings some great news about the upcoming Transformers Headmasters DVDs coming to us soon from Metrodome - namely, they tell us when these much-desired releases are coming and how much you'll have to part with to own a set! According to this Amazon listing, the set is due for a release on 5 July - just a little under three months away! Amazon has the RRP set at $29.96 but is as always offering a discount, they are asking just $20.99 for the set if you buy it through them.
$20.99 for this series is a fair bargain in my book - even the RRP cost of $29.96 still works out at less than $1 per episode, which is good value for money however you try to tackle it. Let's hope this set sells well so there's more Japanese series goodness in our future, so we can say go! and use the Masterforce to transform. Pictured at left is the cover art of the Metrodome set released in the UK a few years back. Will the US cover art be as excellent as this? Stay tuned to find out! |

Two more of the Dark of the Moon Mini-Con single packs have popped up on eBay. This time out the names are Rav and Triceradon, the other two members of the Classics Mini-Con Dinobots redecos. Like the Dualor who we saw before, these guys are in Generation 1 Dinobot inspired decos. They are single packed and by all indications are headed out as some kind of shared store exclusive between Big Bad Toy Store and someone else - unless plans have changed of course.

Many United States Transformers collectors have been searching effortlessly (and in vain) for the Reveal the Shield Scouts and Legends figures. Our friends overseas have had plenty of luck, and those who order from online collectable stores have been fortunate, but what's in the store for the rest of us?
We may have your answer, and it's not good. According to various Hasbro Retail Merchandiser Reps, it would seem that Hasbro has chosen to cancel the Reveal the Shield Scout Assortment in the United States. Beyond the evidence that these figures cannot be found anywhere, word is coming in that some online retailers are cancelling existing pre-orders that they now cannot fill. This means that the United States may not see a retail release of Windcharger, Chopsaw, Rumble, Bodylock, and Downshift. As for the Reveal the Shield Legends Assortment? That is apparently still up in the air, but the major retail chains are not placing orders for these figures, as they are still sitting on Hunt for the Decepticons and there's apparently a giant, blockbuster movie and toy release on the horizon that they are ordering the H-E-double hockey stick out of... The last bit of information we got out of our conversations is that Hasbro is currently looking at a different avenue to get these figures released. We're going to keep this as A RUMOR for the time being, but if you want to be assured any of those figures, your best bet is to start looking at imports or online retailers. We'll keep you posted. |

The official Transformers Collector's Club have updated their site with a new robot mode image of their exclusive Generation 2 Ramjet. This new image is marked "final" so this is probably an actual image of the finished toy you are looking at. The Classics Ramjet redeco is looking sharp in purple black and green - retro styled Generation 2 at it's best!

Surprise Surprise! Here we have our first look at the mobile game of Transformers: Dark of the Moon by Electronic Arts.
Unofficial sources reveal that the game consists of levels exploring Chernobyl and Moon. Twitter was buzzing with these leaked images only few moments ago. And this description was also found. Bear in mind that this is unofficial and unconfirmed… “While Megatron is hiding after the disgraceful defeat, Decepticons Shockwave, the ruler of Cybertron, is preparing to visit the planet with absolutely no good intentions. The game takes place not only on Earth, but the dynamics Moon, a dark side which holds no less dark secrets.” The images reveal Optimus Prime fighting with some Dreads/Crankcase, Optimus Prime in Stealth Force mode and the upgrade system. |

With the repeat airing of the latest episode of Transformers Prime came the trailer for this week's new episode. A figure from Arcee's past comes back to haunt her in the present. This new female Decepticon is the reported Airachnid, although she's not positively identified in the trailer. A little bonus tidbit coming from 2005 Boards member Secretcode - this new female Decepticon will apparently be voiced by Gina Torres of Firefly fame!

Amazon, Japan is listing some new and updating some old Transformers: Dark of the Moon Novels (mostly for kids).
The site now lists the previously taken-down Transformers 3 books which helped us to uncover the title of the third movie for the first time in the world. Many entertainment websites praised TFW2005. Despite our happiness, we felt sad to see the product pages taken-down. Now the novels are back. It is clear that each book contains one particular scene from the movie. You can take a look at the three Kids Novels, after the jump. Cover of Readers’ Digest Transformers: Dark of the Moon Push-Pops book is also revealed along with the Mix & Match book. New entry just showed-up. It’s called Transformers Dark of the Moon - Annual 2012. Read on to check out the description. |

Michal Bay came to visit his Forum and told the fans that...
"Mercedes would never let us make their car into a bad Decepticon. Car company's really frown on that - I can't say what the game company and comics do that's their own thing. They don't have the same constraints movies do. It's Carly's car." Many Transformers Fans were saying that Decepticon Soundwave of Transformers: Dark of the Moon may have the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Vehicle Mode due to various stuff they have seen or heard. First, the car on set was seen driven by a man wearing black. Usually this means the stunt driver will get erased to make it look like the car is driving on its own. Soon, we heard about a Human Alliance Soundwave. HA figures are usually cars (Bumblebee, Jazz, Skids, Mudflap, Barricade, Sideswipe etc.) Then, the recent Transformers 3 Activision and High Moon Studios trailer and GDC Preview revealed Soundwave with a SUV Vehicle Mode similar to the above mentioned car. What do you think, is Soundwave, the SLS AMG or not? |
