Darth Vader. The one everyone’s been waiting for. Black Series Darth Vader is here and ready to spread the dark side to your galactic shelves. When he was first seen it was a love/hate situation – it had all the key elements, some thought it went a bit overboard on the soft goods tho. Overall
I was very surprised by this figure. I thought the cape would be too doll-y for me, but after taking it for a spin I was cool. The weighted corners allow you to toss it into a position and it stays put. The inner one, little pain in the ass, it’s folded and then tucked into a slot on his waist, but the fold comes undone easily. Once you get it posed up tho should be fine. The Helmet – when off it’s a great death scene head. But when on it’s a little fat. All the other details like the suit and armor molding and paint, the chest panel, all are on point. Articulation is there and easily positioned, maybe a bit loose in the legs. Overall, when you get him posed up or battling Luke, it’s an impressive figure and very well done. Putting him in the same wave as Jedi Luke just makes the pair an easy grab when you see them. Check some cool shots right here, and over 50 down below!
